Welcome to our Azimanak 13 endgame speed farming guide. This guide is aimed at advanced players, for new players please see our more comprehensive guide

The Azimanak 13 Hunt can be quite long, with runs easily averaging 4+ minutes, even for well-built teams. By trading some consistency, teams can be built that can clear this Hunt reliably in around 1 minute, greatly increasing the time efficiency. This is particularly notable for those seeking to farm during Gold/Hunt Buff Events.

Requisites

The investment needed for speed Azimanak 13 teams is very high. Specific Heroes with specialized builds, high mola investments, and damage requirements make a successful speed team difficult to pull off.

Heroes

Vivian is a must-have, as she provides both Attack buff and strong cleaving capabilities. While there are technically compositions that do not require her, they are only viable with perfect gear.

At least one of Leo, Bellona, or S. Rose. Leo is an easily accessible 4*, while Bellona is a rare 5*. S. Rose servers as an alternative to Leo, but greatly increases gear requirements and is not recommended.

W. Schuri’s damage is significantly higher, with no other comparable nuker.

A cleaver with high second turn damage is required. Either BB. Karin, C. Mercedes, or Ludwig are viable. Other cleavers may be viable here, but greatly increase the gear required on W. Schuri.

Only with Bellona, you may opt for a strong nuker instead of a cleaver with high second turn damage. LQ. CharlotteYufine, Sol,  Cermia, and S. Sez are the best options here.

Artifacts

Song of Stars provides Target, the largest damage buff available. With a two cleaver setup, Song of Stars can be replaced by Super Duper Water Gun Shooter.

Daydream Joker is the highest damage artifact and is required at +30 for nukers.

Time Matter allows Vivian to reset her CDs and increases her damage.

General

The main goal is to construct a team that can setup a powerful nuke on Azimanak and cleaves the first wave. This ensures both parts of the Azimanak fight are handled as quickly as possible. Optimized setups will consistently clear around 80% of the time in around 55 seconds – 1 minute.

The mechanics a team will need to clear will involve:

  1. Surviving damage from the 1st wave,
  2. Cleaving the 1st wave, either through Defense Break, a powerful nuker, or extra turn mechanic
  3. Setting up Defense Break and Target on Azimanak,
  4. Clearing the eggs of Azimanak,
  5. Nuking Azimanak.

As our speed team aims to clear quickly, we only need to deal with the egg mechanic once, and berserk is only a factor in specific compositions.

For a more detailed rundown of the mechanics, please see our Azimanak comprehensive guide

First Wave

The first wave features 2 Striker Warlords, with 14653 HP and 1134 Def, at 218 Speed. Their attack inflicts up to 3 poisons and deals a considerable amount of damage. Either Immunity or Stuns are used to reduce the damage taken.

The Karax Charger is much tankier, with 23805 HP and 1297 Def, at 176 speed. Its bulk poses a challenge to our cleaver, as it essentially requires 2 hits to die.

To reliably clear the 1st wave, we’ll need Attack Buff or Defense Break (or both), high AoE damage, one way to defeat the Karax Charger, and either Immunity or Stun for the Striker Warlords.

Azimanak

Azimanak 13 has 134511 HP2832 Def, and 80% Effect Resistance. It has 208 Speed and begins its first turn at 25% CR. At the start of the fight, Azimanak will spawn eggs. The eggs have 9160 HP, and 600 Def and any AoE can quickly dispatch them.

As Azimanak should only get one turn afterward, this part of the fight is simply setting up debuffs, clearing the eggs, then nuking it.

Team Construction

All teams will feature a core of Vivian + W. Schuri. These two Heroes are the best at their role by far, and no good other options are available. The debuffer slot will either be Leo or Bellona, which enable different teams. Leo must be paired with a secondary cleaver, but Bellona’s ability to Defense Break the 1st wave allows a team to bring a second nuker instead.

Two Cleavers

A typical setup involving Leo. A cleaver and Vivian handle the first wave and deal decent damage to the boss before W. Schuri finishes Azimanak. The required minimum damage for W. Schuri’s S3 is ~80k, as the rest of your team should be able to deal enough damage.

Bellona + Two Nuker

Bellona enables two nuker compositions; however, this is reliant on her S3 Defense Breaking on the 1st wave for Vivian to be able to cleave reliably. As such, it is slightly less consistent. With this setup, W. Schuri and a second Nuker should a minimum of ~110k damage total.

Hero Analysis

Debuffers

The 3 viable units for this slot are Leo, S. Rose, and Bellona. They are capable of providing AoE damage on the 1st wave and setting up Defense Break and Target on Azimanak.

Leo is an easily accessible 4*, who brings low damage and a Stun on the 1st wave. On Azimanak, his S2 Defense Breaks, and has an additional chance to proc his S1, which can help apply Target again if needed.   He also has a strong %Attack imprint, adding a bit to your nuker’s damage.

Gear Requirements:

  • 228+ Speed to outspeed the 1st wavefix
  • Mola’d S2 for 100% Defense Break chance
  • 65% Effectiveness
  • 100% Critical Chance / Additional Damage
  • Song of Stars
At very high gear levels, Leo can be ran at 205% (~260) the speed of your nukers, allowing him to gain 2 turns on Azimanak.

Similar to Leo, S. Rose brings a weak AoE on the 1st wave, and sets up Defense Break on Azimanak. While she does not have a stun, her S3 CR manipulation allows Vivian to S3 before the wave. However, the biggest problem with S. Rose is her Knight class, as this means she cannot use Song of Stars. As Leo is significantly more accessible, he is a better option overall.

Gear Requirements:

  • 228+ Speed to outspeed the 1st wave
  • 65% Effectiveness
  • 100% Critical Chance / Additional Damage
S. Rose is not recommended over Leo.

Bellona is unique and enables a unique team composition with 2 nukers, and may be preferable for those with weaker nukers. Her S3 Defense Break allows Vivian to cleave the 1st wave, however, this can be resisted, increasing the failure rate. Instead, like Leo, she can supplement damage, and another cleaver can be run instead.

Gear Requirements:

  • 205% (~262+) the Speed of your nukers to reliably setup S3 on both the 1st wave and Azimanak
  • Mola’d S3 for 100% Defense Break chance
  • 65% Effectiveness
  • 100% Critical Chance / Additional Damage
  • S3 Defense Break EE
  • Song of Stars (not needed for very high damage teams)
Cleavers

Vivian is the best cleave option available. Her S3 provides a self Greater Attack Buff, Immunity, and a team-wide attack buff, fulfilling a large number of requirements. In addition, her S2 is a strong cleave that clears both the 1st wave and the eggs reliably.

There are two different builds available for Vivian, either a 180 Speed or a fast 228 Speed build.

180 Speed:

By using her EE to gain 50% CR after she casts her S3, Vivian can reliably cut the slow nukers and S3 -> S2 on the first wave. With this build, 180 speed is a minimum and should be adjusted to be 155% faster than your nukers. This build should be ran either with another Hero at 228+ speed with Immunity or Stun, or with your entire team on Immunity set.

228 Speed:

Adding additional speed allows Vivian to go before the 1st wave, setting up her Immunity buff before the Striker Warlords attack. However, this comes at the cost of some damage. This build should be ran in setups where you do not have another Hero that can Stun or provide Immunity.

Gear Requirements:

Vivian’s S2 is a decent AoE, but cannot cleave the 1st wave reliably, As such she should be paired with another cleaver or Defense Break.

Decent benchmarks are 3500 Attack, 280% Critical Damage, and 180/228 Speed. This provides enough damage to fully cleave with Defense Break, and always one-shots the eggs. When paired with a second cleaver, this is enough damage to clean up the wave and proc Time Matter for the Azimanak fight. Note that with these stats, she may not be able to do enough damage to the Karax Charger unless Striker Warlords are left alive for her 2nd wave to proc.

Blood Blade Karin notably can cleave the first wave entirely herself with only Attack buff through her extra turn.  However, her S1 damage is relatively low. This allows Vivian to use Super Duper Water Gun Shooter instead of Time Matter, easing gear requirements.

Gear Requirements:

With Attack Buff + Daydream Joker: 14355 =  Attack * Critical Damage:

  • ~4350 Attack * 330% Crit Damage
  • ~4780 Attack * 300% Crit Damage

These stats can be particularly high, so an alternative is to run Portrait of the Saviors, which sacrifices damage on the Azimanak, in exchange for lower gear required for cleaving.

With Attack Buff + Portrait of the Saviors: 12400 =  Attack * Critical Damage:

  • ~4000 Attack * 310% Crit Damage
  • ~4420 Attack * 280% Crit Damage

C. Mercedes is another strong cleaver, with built-in %HP damage on her S2. This allows her to deal high damage to Azimanak.

As she cannot clear the 1st wave, her goal is to set it up for Vivian to clear afterward. Radiant Forever scales her S2 damage on Azimanak the most and is the choice of artifact here.

Gear Requirements:

Maximize her damage, but in order to not kill the Striker Warlords, her damage should not exceed 15750 Attack * Critical Damage. (4.5k Attack * 350 Critical Damage). As she needs to set up the wave for Vivian, she should have 140+ Speed

Ludwig is a decent cleaver and an acceptable S2 nuke. Like C. Mercedes, he should set up the wave for Vivian to finish, as he cannot cleave the 1st wave.

Gear Requirements:

Maximize his damage, but in order to not kill the Striker Warlords, his damage should not exceed 16100 Attack * Critical Damage. (4.6k Attack * 350 Critical Damage). As he needs to set up the wave for Vivian, he should have 140+ Speed

Nukers

W. Schuri is the strongest possible Nuker, with 100% Defense Penetration and Elemental Advantage. The easiest way to scale his damage is through the usage of Daydream Joker and Rage set. Defense Break doesn’t affect his damage, but Target does. His Imprint provides either self-Critical Chance or Speed, both helping to ease gear requirements.

Gear Requirements:

  • Max mola’d S3
  • 85% Critical Chance
  • Minimum Speed
  • +30 Daydream Joker
Damage Requirements:

W. Schuri needs to do a minimum of 60k damage with two nukers, and 80k damage with two cleavers. Notably, 60k damage can be reached without Rage set. However, these only serve as minimums, and more damage will likely be needed, depending on the rest of your team.

Emphasis should be placed on prioritizing Crit Damage, as it scales multiplicatively with Daydream Joker.

Without Rage Set (60k):

  • ~3300 Attack * 330% Crit Damage
  • ~3700 Attack * 300% Crit Damage

With Rage Set (60k):

  • ~2800 Attack * 280% Crit Damage

With Rage Set (80k):

  • ~3500 Attack * 320% Crit Damage
  • ~3200 Attack * 340% Crit Damage

LQ. Charlotte is a powerful nuker with 50% Defense Penetration and bonus damage against Dark enemies, As a result, she is the next most powerful nuker, and can hit 80k damage on her S3.

Gear Requirements:

  • Max mola’d S3
  • 85% Critical Chance
  • Minimum Speed
  • +30 Daydream Joker
Damage Requirements:

Without Rage Set (50k):

  • ~3900 Attack * 280% Crit Damage

With Rage Set (50k):

  • ~3500 Attack * 250% Crit Damage

With Rage Set (80k):

  • ~4400 Attack * 330% Crit Damage
  • ~4100 Attack * 350% Crit Damage

Yufine is a high damage Nuker, as Azimanak gains a buff before Yufine’s turn.

Gear Requirements:

  • Max mola’d S3
  • 100% Critical Chance
  • Minimum Speed
  • +30 Daydream Joker
Damage Requirements:

Without Rage Set (50k):

  • ~4500 Attack * 300% Crit Damage
  • ~4000 Attack * 330% Crit Damage

With Rage Set (50k):

  • ~3900 Attack * 280% Crit Damage

Sol is an accessible nuker, his damage is split into a strong nuke with %HP damage on his S3, and his S2, which he will use right after Azimanak moves at the start of the battle. As he has a debuff on his S3, he should be built with minimum effectiveness.

Gear Requirements:

  • Max mola’d S3 and S2
  • 100% Critical Chance
  • Minimum Speed
  • Minimum Effectiveness
  • +30 Daydream Joker
Damage Requirements:

Without Rage Set (50k):

  • ~4000 Attack * 300% Crit Damage

With Rage Set (50k):

  • ~3500 Attack * 250% Crit Damage

Cermia is capable of nuking twice, as she resets her S3 cooldown, allowing her to clear the Karax Charger, then setup Greater Attack buff for Azimanak. However, her damage is relatively low in comparison to other nukers.

Gear Requirements:

  • Max mola’d S3
  • 100% Critical Chance
  • Minimum Speed
  • +30 Daydream Joker
Damage Requirements:

Without Rage Set (50k):

  • ~5500 Attack * 340% Crit Damage

With Rage Set (50k):

  • ~4000 Attack * 340% Crit Damage
  • ~4500 Attack * 310% Crit Damage

S. Sez is capable of clearing the Karax Charger, but has the least amount of damage of any nuker.

Gear Requirements:

  • Max mola’d S3
  • 85% Critical Chance
  • Minimum Speed
  • +30 Daydream Joker
Damage Requirements:

With Rage Set (50k):

  • ~4000 Attack * 340% Crit Damage

Alternatives and Optimizations

Target-Only Composition

At high gear levels, a two nuker composition will not depend on Defense Break, and SS. Bellona can be used. Her S3 allows her to cleave the 1st wave with Vivian, and Song of Stars gives two chances to land Target. As this composition should be able to clear as long as either Defense Break or Target land, this composition has a higher win-rate than other compositions.

Requirements:

  • 228 Speed Vivian Build
  • 140 Speed SS. Bellona w/ 65% Effectiveness, maximum damage
  • Very high damage Nukers (~110k with Target total)
